First major project of the center was the Reykjavik Visual Music - Punto y Raya Festival 2014, where we partnered with Spanish film festival, Punto y Raya in creating an exciting event devoted to abstract film and live cinema. It took place from January 30th to February 2nd 2014 at Harpa, Reykjavík.
The Reykjavik Center for Visual Music was founded in the fall of 2012 by Friðrik Steinn Kristjánsson. The idea of the center is to foster the development of visual music in Iceland. The center is funded by the Silfurberg Art Fund.
